Hire Application Form

If you would like to make a booking, please complete the form below.  If the requested date/time is available, you will then receive an invoice for the deposit by email (refundable after your event as per the terms and conditions of hire).  Your booking will be confirmed once the deposit is paid, and a booking confirmation will be sent.  The cost of hire can then be paid any time before the day of your event (if you would like to pay this at the same time as your deposit, please let us know).

Under Data Protection legislation the church Charity Trustees of South Chingford Congregational Church are the Data Controller and the Church Secretary acts as our Data Protection Officer. 

We are collecting this information to enable the church to process your request to hire the premises. 

Your name and contact details will be kept in a file locked in the church office and accessed only by the Pastor and Church Secretary.  In addition, should your booking be accepted, your name and contact details may be provided to a designated representative of the church who will act as caretaker to facilitate your access to the premises on the day of your booking.  Your contact details will be removed from our records at the end of the calendar year in which your booking takes place.  

You have the right to ask to see any information we hold about you by submitting a Subject Access Request to the Church Secretary.  You also have the right to ask for information which you believe to be incorrect to be rectified.

If you are concerned about the way your information is being handled please speak to our Data Protection Officer.  If you are still unhappy you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioners Office.
